A Celebration of Innovation
A few weeks ago, Vistage announced the recipients of its second annual Member Leadership Awards. 
The awards program was created to celebrate the inspiring business and community achievements of Vistage members who best exemplify the organization’s values of Trust, Caring, Challenge and Growth and its six cultural imperatives of Collaboration, Courage, Impact, Innovation, Judgment, and Passion.
In the fourth installment of our series to celebrate this year’s recipients and finalists, let me introduce J. Lyell Clarke III, award winner in the category of Innovation. Lyell is President & CEO of Clarke Company in Roselle, IL. His vision propelled the once regional environment products and services company to the premier leader in mosquito control. The company’s organic larvacide product, Natular, won the U.S. EPA 2010 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award and his innovative products have stemmed outbreaks of devastating diseases both in the U.S. and worldwide. Finalists in the Innovation category included Melanie Dulbecco, CEO of Torani Syrups & Flavors in South San Francisco, CA and Chris Groves, President & CEO of Centric Software in Campbell, CA.
